Associate Director, Technical Project Management & Operational Efficiency
Role Purpose
The Associate Director of Technical Project Management & Operational Efficiency plays a critical role in bringing DHS’s operational vision to life. Working closely with the AVP of Project Management & Operational Efficiency, this role ensures that DHS’s marketing function has the systems, tools, and processes needed to operate at scale. The Associate Director provides senior-level project leadership, drives adoption of best practices, and ensures cross-functional initiatives are executed with precision — with a particular focus on marketing capabilities, data, and tooling
About You
Experience
- 5–10 years of professional experience in project management, operations, or product/technology environments.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery.
- Background in technology, product, or data-driven organizations strongly preferred; healthcare experience a plus.
- Experience driving operational improvements, implementing systems or tools, and ensuring adoption across teams.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership while also mentoring and supporting team members.
Skills + Tools
- Strong ability to translate business goals into process improvements and technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Expertise with project management platforms (Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar).
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting, and workflow automation tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver.

What You’ll Be Doing
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects within the marketing function, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to organizational goals.
- Translate business objectives into actionable project plans and technical requirements.
- Partner with marketing, data, and client-facing teams to ensure operational readiness and successful adoption of tools, systems, and workflows.
Operational Efficiency
- Support the AVP in driving efficiency and standardization across DHS by piloting and implementing process improvements within the marketing function.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve reporting and visibility.
- Monitor and report on KPIs to assess efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations.
Technical Systems & Tools
- Oversee implementation, optimization, and adoption of marketing-related platforms and tools (e.g., project management systems, analytics dashboards, workflow automation).
- Serve as the liaison between marketing leadership, technical teams, and vendors to ensure systems meet functional needs.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work in close partnership with the AVP, providing senior-level perspective and feedback on cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor project managers and team members on best practices in technical project management and operations.
- Foster collaboration across marketing, creative, and client-facing functions to ensure alignment and accountability.
